How it works.
Unlike most other Skin Tightening treatments that use one modality to treat the appearance of dimpled skin, VelaShape uses a combination of four: infrared light, bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy, massage, and gentle suction.
Synergistic Energy
The applicator is massaged over the target area and a patented combination of infrared, radio frequency and pulse vacuum energies causes deep heating of the fat cells, their surrounding connective tissue and the underlying dermal collagen fibres.
Adipose Shrinkage
The bi-polar radio frequency works below the dermis layer of skin, heating adipose tissue and increasing local metabolic output causing shrinkage of fat cells themselves. As fat chambers reduce in size tension is released from the 'fibrous septae' reducing any dimpling associated with loose skin.
Collagen Remodelling
Infrared heat penetrates to the dermis layer, stimulating fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis. This promotes the growth of new and improved collagen and elastin resulting in a localized reduction in skin laxity, and enhanced structure & texture; making the skin smoother, firmer and tighter.
Improved Circulation
